Justice Minister Says Measures Must Be Implemented to Reduce Backlogs
Ljubljana, 20 November - The settlement of denationalisation cases is not going ahead as planned, was the comment of Slovenian Justice Minister Ivo Bizjak on European Commission's recent progress report on Slovenia. The report is critical of the still large backlog of pending court cases. The assessment that half of the administrative units would wrap up all denationalisation procedures proved wrong, and the efficiency of officials worsened rather than improved, he told the press Wednesday.
