NATO Summit: Slovenia Expects Invitation as Prague Summit to Kick Off

Prague, 21 November - Slovenia expects to be invited to join NATO as the Alliance begins its two-day summit in Prague later on Thursday. Receiving the invitation would represent an achievement of one of Slovenia's foreign policy goals, which was officially set in 1996. A decision on which countries would be extended an invitation is expected to be revealed by NATO Secretary General George Robertson at the outset of the summit on Thursday morning.
