NATO Summit: No Need for NATO Referendum, But We'll Back It, Says NSi
Ljubljana, 22 November - The opposition New Slovenia (NSi) considers a NATO membership referendum unnecessary, "given that accession to this military organisation is on the agenda of all parties", NSi president Andrej Bajuk said Friday. However, because the decision is a historical one, he thinks it sensible that it be confirmed at a referendum. The party is prepared to back a referendum initiative, Bajuk added.
