Trieste Port Authority Votes for Rehabilitation of TICT

Trieste, 23 November - The port board of the Trieste Port Authority adopted a plan to save the troubled seventh Trieste peer for transshipment of cargo. As the decision was taken, the lease-holder of the peer, Trieste International Container Terminal (TICT), 49-percent owned by Slovenia's Port of Koper, will be able to start reorganisation of the peer, the chair of the Trieste Port Authority Maurizio Maresca told STA on Friday.
