Secretary of State Powell Congratulates Slovenians on NATO Invitation

Ljubljana, 23 November - U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell has congratulated Slovenian citizens on the invitation the country received Thursday to join NATO. The good wishes were also extended on behalf of U.S. President George W. Bush, while the news release issued by the U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana on Saturday said that Powell also welcomed Slovenia to the Alliance in the name of the American people.
