Danish Compromise Deal in Only a Proposal, Negotiator Potocnik Says

Ljubljana, 26 November - The offer made to Slovenia for a transitional period in selling land to foreigners from the EU countries is only a proposal the Danish EU presidency has made to all the candidate countries. This is not the common standpoint of the Union, since the other members have not taken a decision on it, Slovenia's chief negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik responded to one of the offers included in the Danish compromise package for the candidates.
