Danish Compromise Deal Is Only a Proposal, Negotiator Potocnik Says

Brussels, 26 November - The offer made to Slovenia for a transitional period in selling land to citizens of the EU is only a proposal the Danish EU presidency has made to all the candidate countries. This is not the common standpoint of the Union, since the other members have not taken a decision on it yet, Slovenia's chief negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik responded Tuesday to one of the offers included in the Danish compromise package for the EU candidate countries, including Slovenia.
