LJUBLJANA - The two candidates for the Slovenian presidency, Janez Drnovsek and Barbara Brezigar, are to face off at 8 PM in the last televised head-to-head debate before the onset of the election calm at midnight.

LJUBLJANA - The head of the Slovenian Statistical Office Tomaz Banovec and a number of his co-workers are to present some of the latest economic and social indicators in Slovenia at a press conference scheduled for 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The Economists Association of Slovenia and the Chamber of Commerce are to stage a conference on economic policy in Slovenia. Finance Minister Anton Rop is expected to address the meeting.
