European Commission: Outgoing Government No Problem for Accession Talks

Brussels, 2 December - An outgoing government should pose no problem for Slovenia to successfully complete its accession talks with the EU this month, STA was told on Monday by an European Commission official in response to Sunday's presidential elections which saw Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek win. The prime minister is expected to step down today, whereupon his cabinet would be automatically dissolved.
