Finance Committee Discusses Sale of Slovenian Washington Embassy
Ljubljana, 4 December - The third amendment to the government proposed plan to sell off state assets in 2002 and 2003, including the planned sale of a Washington embassy worth SIT 200m (EUR 870,600), was adopted on Wednesday by the parliamentary monetary committee. The MPs also adopted the committe's amendments to the bill on state guarantee for an EUR 50m loan taken out at the Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau bank by the Slovenian Motorway Company (DARS).
