Largest Mercator to Open in Belgrade on Thursday

Belgrade, 5 December - The largest and most expensive Mercator shopping centre ever - worth SIT 8.6bn (EUR 37.4m) - is to be opened by the Slovenian retailer in the Yugoslavian capital on Thursday. The Belgrade centre is the first Mercator facility in Serbia in almost 30 years. Mercator chairman Zoran Jankovic told the press on Wednesday that the company plans to spread to the Serbian market.
