Trade Unions Should Strive for More Workers' Rights, ZSSS Head Believes
Ljubljana, 5 December - "Big changes have taken place in the Slovenian society and economy, to which trade unions should adapt their activities if we want to stay a workers' organisation efficient in protecting workers' rights," Dusan Semolic - incumbent president of the Slovenian Association of Free Trade Unions (ZSSS), who is running for re-election - stressed at Thursday's ZSSS congress. Only united, solidarity-oriented trade unions can facilitate social justice and economic welfare, he also pointed out.
