Maribor, 6 December - Slovenia is doubtless on its way to become an important factor in the development of the countries born out of the former Yugoslavia. This region in fact gets as much as 65 percent of all Slovenia's investments abroad, while the opening of the largest Mercator centre on Thursday indicates that this percentage is even destined to grow. The normalisation of Slovenia's relations with these countries enabled it to avoid European recession, says Friday's edition of a Maribor-based daily.
