Experts Speculate on a Potential "No" to NATO
Maribor, 7 December - Turning down NATO's invitation to join the Alliance "would probably seem not only offensive, but even dangerous," Marko Kosin, President of the Slovenian Association for International Relations, stated. Apart from Kosin, Slovenian Ambassador to NATO Matjaz Sinkovec, and U.S. and Austrian Ambassadors to Slovenia Johnny Young and Ferdinand Mayrhofer-Gruenbuehel all offered their views on Slovenia's potential rejection to join the Alliance, which were published in the Saturday's edition of the daily Vecer.
