Review of Slovenia's Economy from 30 November to 6 December

Ljubljana, 8 December - Economic ties between Slovenia and Yugoslavia were in the forefront of business news during the past week. Continuing its strong expansion driver south, Slovenia's leading retail chain Mercator inaugurated its biggest investment abroad by opening its Belgrade super market. Meanwhile, confirmation of the ever-improving business ties between the two countries came on Friday as a regular air route between the capitals of the two countries was launched.
