Investigation Underway into Purchase of Macedonia's Publisher by Slovenian Group
Skopje, 10 December - Criminal charges have been filed against five Macedonian citizens suspected of abusing their office in the sale of Macedonia's largest publishing house NIP Nova Makedonija to the Slovenian group Jug storitve, Macedonia's Interior Ministry said. According to Macedonian media reports, the group of suspects includes Nova Makedonija chief executive Nikola Tasev. These reports also suggested that an international warrant has been issued for his arrest.
