Ljubljana, 11 December - The STA English service will cover the following events on Thursday, 12 December:

COPENHAGEN - Outgoing Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek is to led Slovenia's delegation at the EU's Copenhagen summit, kicking off on Thursday evening. Slovenia expects to close accession negotiations.

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to continue an extraordinary session by discussing changes to the 2003 budget, and the budget bill for 2003.

NOVA GORICA - Tourism experts are to gather for a traditional, two-day Slovenian Tourism Forum to examine ways of boosting tourism and seek new ideas on how to promote Slovenia as a tourist destination. Outgoing Economics Minister Tea Petrin is to attend.

LJUBLJANA - Weekly session of the outgoing government.

MARIBOR - Togehter with four partner countries, Maribor's Europe House is to host an international forum about EU enlargement. Public-opinion making and Slovenia's strategy of promoting awareness about the EU are to be in the focus.

LJUBLJANA - Outgoing President Milan Kucan is to attend the opening of an exhibition of presents he has received during his terms in office. Kucan has handed his presents to Slovenia's Museum of Recent History.

LAUSANNE - A Slovenian delegation led by the national coordinator for the Francophonie Jozef Kunic, who is a Foreign Ministry state undersecretary, is to attend a two-day meeting of this organisation, in which Slovenia is an observer.

LJUBLJANA - Serbia's Privatisation Agency and company Balkan Consulting are to present Serbian privatisation.

LJUBLJANA - A first European forum of civil society is to gather, focussing on Slovenia's integration into the EU.
