Farmers Moderately Optimistic about EU Negotiations Outcome
Ljubljana, 13 December - The negotiated quotas for agricultural production are a step forward from the original offer, said the Slovenian Agriculture Chamber (KGZS) on Friday after Slovenia closed the EU accession negotiations in Copenhagen. However, the chamber remains "moderately optimistic", because the quotas for small cattle, suckling cows and olive oil are still somewhat critical for the progress of Slovenian agriculture.
