No End to Milk Affair, Farmers Demand Meeting With Minister
Ptuj/Bohinj, 14 December - The milk cooperative from Ptuj, NE Slovenia, called a management board session and a meeting with some 350 farmers, vets, cattle breeders and farmers' union representatives after a temporary ban on milk delivery in the region was enforced Friday. The ban came after quick tests of the Slovenian Veterinary Administration (VURS) detected the banned antibiotic Chloramphenicol in the milk from the region.
