Janez Susnik - New President of National Council

Ljubljana, 17 December - The National Council, the upper chamber of the Slovenian parliament, elected Janez Susnik as its new president at a maiden session on Tuesday. In the second round of voting, Susnik was elected in a 22:14 vote. The councillors also elected Joze Stanic as vice-president, and confirmed the mandates of all but two councillors.
