Parliament Adopts 2003 and 2004 Budgets

Ljubljana, 20 December - The Slovenian parliament adopted the 2003 and 2004 budgets, the budget implementation bill and the programme for the sale of state property in the coming two years as it wrapped up an extraordinary budget session on Friday. The adoption of the budgets came a week later than was expected, since opposition lawmakers boycotted the session last week, forcing it to be postponed until after a new government was appointed.
