Central Bank Abolishes Last Restriction to Capital Accounts

Ljubljana, 20 December - The Bank of Slovenia council decided on Friday to do away with the last remaining capital account restriction in its authority, as all Slovenia's residents will be allowed to to open and hold bank accounts abroad as of 1 February 2003.
