Energy Giant to Make Substantial Profit in 2002

Ljubljana, 20 December - The group Holding Slovenske elektrarne (HSE), which unites a number of Slovenian power plants, is to make its first profit this year. Facing a tough start in 2001, the electricity giant took the initiative in 2002 and almost all companies in the group will make a profit this year. The group is thus expected to make a profit of in excess of SIT 10bn (EUR 43.5m) for the year.
