Slovenian Constitution Celebrates 11th Birthday

Ljubljana, 23 December - Monday, 23 December, marks 11 years since Slovenian lawmakers adopted the Constitution, the country's basic legal document and the foundation of Slovenia's legal system. Since 1997, the day is celebrated as Constitution Day in Slovenia, as the adoption of this document also signaled the country's transition to a democratic society.
