EU and NATO Invitations Positively Affect Public Support for Memberships

Ljubljana, 23 December - The number of people who would support the country's accession to the EU in case of a referendum has increased by 5.2 percent since November, as 66.4 percent of Slovenians would vote in favour of the membership. The number of EU opposers has reduced by three percent to 19.9 percent of the respondents, show December's results of the Politbarometer telephone survey conducted by the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences.
