Double Celebration at the Parliament
Ljubljana, 23 December - A festive atmosphere prevailed on Monday in the Slovenian parliament because of two anniversaries: the twelfth of Slovenia's sovereignty and the tenth of the Slovenian parliament, both of which will be honoured at tonight's festive session. A plebiscite for the Slovenian independence was held on 23 December in 1990, exactly one year later the Slovenian Constitution was adopted, and on this day in 1992, the parliament was constituted.
