ashington, April 28 (STA) - A Slovenian delegation led by Minister of Finance Mitja Gaspari attended sessions of special World Bank and International Monetary Fund committees (Interim and Development Committee) in charge of adopting decisions on management policies of the two international financial institutions, the delegation reported to STA. The mid-year meeting was attended by finance ministers and governors of central banks from various countries.***

The Slovenian delegation, which included France Arhar, governor of the National Bank of Slovenia, also attended a joint meeting of all member countries of the Belgian constituency in the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Slovenia recently became a member of the constituency, which also includes Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Luxembourg, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
