Ljubljana, 29 April - PARTIES/SDSS/JANŠA/SMOLNIKAR
Some quotations in the report on the Smolnikar case drawn up by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Bizjak, and which was submitted to the Prime Minister, indicate that Smolnikar had been a secret agent of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs since March, 1994, and that he had been accumulating secret military information at the Ministry of Defence. There are also some suspicions in the report that he was gathering information not only for the Criminal Investigation Service, but also for "others". These facts throw new light on the events which took place in Depala Vas, said Janez Janša, who has also shown journalists fragments of the above-mentioned report, and some other documents.
