Rupel Sends Condolences to U.S. over Loss of Space Shuttle and Crew

Ljubljana, 1 February - Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel sent his condolences to U.S. Secretary of State Collin Powell as the U.S. space shuttle Columbia shattered over Texas on Saturday. According to the Foreign Ministry, Rupel wrote to Powell that Slovenia was sad to receive the tragic news and asked the secretary of state to forward the condolences to families of the dead astronauts.
