Dnevnik Comments on the Sale of Suncani Hvar

Ljubljana, 3 February - The sale of the Croatian hotel chain Suncani Hvar to the Slovenian tourism company Terme Catez has taken on unusual proportions. To a superfical observer the affair seems to have shaken Croatia's economic grounds. Moreover, it would be quite difficult to find a democratic country in which a sale of ten more or less abandoned island hotels could cause a political crisis with a threat of before-time general elections, writes daily Dnevnik on Monday.
