EU Membership to See Downsizing of Customs Workforce
Ljubljana, 5 February - As many as 450 Slovenian customs officers could lose their jobs as the Slovenian Customs Agency is to restructure its activities upon the country's membership in the EU. Speaking to the press on Wednesday, the director of the Customs Agency Franc Kosir stressed that focus would be paid in moving employees to new posts and solving the problem of excess workers.
