Two Miners Die in Coal Mine Accident in N Slovenia

Velenje, 6 February - Two miners died on Thursday and eight more had to be hospitalised due to an increased concentration of methane and carbon dioxide in a mine shaft in the Velenje coal mine, in northern Slovenia. Although a rescue party was dispatched to the scene immediately, help arrived too late for the two miners.
