Drnovsek Receives Slovenian Minorities ahead of National Culture Day
Ljubljana, 7 February - President Janez Drnovsek on Friday received the Slovenian minorities living in Austria, Croatia, Italy and Hungary. With the upcoming Slovenian EU membership the borders now dividing the Slovenians will lose on importance, as opportunities will emerge for further co-operation in all areas, Drnovsek said on the eve of Slovenian Culture Day. We will make efforts to use these opportunities, he added.
