U.S. Still Hoping for Peaceful Solution to Iraq Crisis, Says Ambassador to Slovenia

Krško/Obrežje, 11 February - U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia Johnny Young traveled to southeastern Slovenia on Tuesday, visiting the Krsko nuclear power plant (NEK). Young pointed out that his visit to Krsko had nothing to do with the current international situation and the crisis in Iraq. He added that the U.S. is still hoping for a peaceful solution to the Iraqi crisis, also with the help of European friends and the positive stance of Slovenia.
