Ministry Allows Brewer Lasko to Purchase 20 Percent of Publisher Delo

Ljubljana, 13 February - The Culture Ministry gave a green light on Thursday to the Slovenian top brewer Pivovarna Lasko to acquire more than twenty percent of the media house Delo. Since the media law limits the cross holding ownership, the ministry gave its approval only after establishing that Lasko's stake in Delo through the associated companies in a local radio was not contestable.
