Coalition Parties Against the Mentioning of Federal Basis in EU Constitution

Ljubljana, 13 February - The future EU Constitution should have no mention of a federal basis of the Union, the coalition parties have written in an amendment to the recently presented draft of the EU Constitution. Explaining the proposal, the group highlighted Slovenia's bad experiences in a federal system that stem from being a part of the former Yugoslavia.
