LDS Gathers for Congress to Elect New Leader
Celje, 14 February - The Liberal Democrats are to gather for a congress on Friday in Celje to elect a new party president after Janez Drnovsek stepped down upon the election to the post of Slovenian president at the end of last year. Over 500 delegates of the largest coalition party are to elect a new head, with with Prime Minister Anton Rop the only candidate for the post. Rop is currently one of the two LDS vice-presidents.
