LDS to Get New Party Leader after Nearly 11 Years

Celje, 14 February - The fifth congress of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) kicked off in the city of Celje at which over 500 delegates are to elect a new party leader and change the statute so as to allow for three instead of just two vice-presidents. At least one should be a women. PM Anton Rop, who is also one of the two vice-presidents, is the only candidate for the top LDS post.
