The EU without NATO Is Like Tomato Juice without Vodka, Says ELDR Head

Ljubljana, 14 February - The EU without NATO is like tomato juice without vodka, as both institutions are very closely linked, Graham Watson, the European Liberal Party group leader in the European Parliament said Friday. NATO is almost a part of the EU foreign and security policy, therefore I would find a decision to enter the EU but not NATO a very weak one, said Watson, who is visiting Slovenia Friday at the invitation of the Liberal Democrats.
