2002 Balance of Payments Surplus Highest Since 1994

Ljubljana, 14 February - Slovenia in 2002 saw the highest balance of payments surplus since 1994. According to early data, the surplus amounted to EUR 392.5m, which was around 1.7 percent GDP. In 2001, the surplus was at mere 30.9m, the Bank of Slovenia told the press on Friday.
