LDS Congress Changes Statute; 4 Candidates for Vice-Presidents

Celje, 14 February - Before proceeding to elect a new leadership, the 5th LDS congress changed the party statute, creating a third post for vice-president. A third vice-president was introduced in a 300 to 132 vote on Friday. Moreover, 356 delegates voted in favour of the quota system in the party leadership, with 56 voting against. This means that at least one of the three vice-presidents has to be a woman.
