Inspectors' Report an Attempt to Buy Time, Says PM Rop
Celje, 14 February - Commenting on the latest report on the disarmament of Iraq presented to the UN Security Council, Prime Minister Anton Rop said that, given the information he has, this is "undoubtedly another attempt to buy time so that Iraq could fully disarm and prove that the UN resolutions have not been violated and a new one not needed". Slovenia would like to see the Iraqi crisis resolved peacefully and within the UN Security Council, Rop said.
