"Spare Parts" Continues Recent Success of Slovenian Film

Ljubljana, 16 February - The Lion of the Future, awarded at the Venice Film Festival to up-and-coming director Jan Cvitkovic in 2001, placed Slovenian film on the map of the European film industry. As Cvitkovic continues to collect accolades for his maiden feature film "Kruh in mleko" (Bread and Milk), another budding Slovenian director has just put his talents on display at the Berlin Film Festival. And with new film studios just opened in Ljubljana, the future looks brighter than ever for the Slovenian film industry.
