Rupel Gave no Promises Regarding Interbrew, Ministry Says

Ljubljana, 17 February - During talks with Belgian Foreign Minister Louis Michel, the Slovenian delegation led by FM Dimitrij Rupel did not divulge in any substantial discussions on Interbrew's interests in leading Slovenia's brewer Pivovarna Union and also did not discuss any sort of reassurances for Interbrew, the Foreign Ministry said Monday in a response to a question by Pivovarna Lasko CEO Tone Turnsek.
