Slovenia Backs Joint EU Declaration on Iraq Issue

Ljubljana, 18 February - The foreign ministry hails and supports the declaration of the European Council on Iraq adopted on Monday. According to the ministry's Tuesday statement, the basic message of the declaration is that the UN remains the most important framework for solving the Iraq issue and that the disarmament of Iraq is in the hands of the Security Council.
