Decade of Diplomatic Relations Between Slovenia and Holy See
Ljubljana, 19 February - Slovenia is marking ten years of the first official visit of its then President Milan Kucan to Vatican on Wednesday. The Holy See was also among the first countries to recognise Slovenia's independence, on 13 January 1992, which helped the country gain international recognition. Slovenia and the Holy See signed an agreement on legal issues in 2001, however, it is still being reviewed by the Constitutional Court.
