Slovenian Cross-Country Skier Places Seventh at World Championships

Val di Fiemme, 20 February - Slovenian Petra Majdic placed seventh (+1:16.8) in the 10-km cross-country race for women at the 44th World Nordic Skiing Championship taking place in Italy's Val di Fiemme. The gold medal was taken by Norway's Bente Skari, Estonia's Kristina Smigun came in second and Norwegian Hilde Pedersen bagged the bronze.
