Deceased Opera Singer Remebered in Ceremony in Maribor

Maribor, 20 February - Soprano Natalija Vorobjova Biorro was given the final farewell on Thursday by the Slovenian National Theatre in Maribor, where she died last week. The highly esteemed opera and concert singer first performed in Slovenia's second largest city in 1989. Soon after that the Maribor Opera management virtually stole her away from the Vienna Opera, where Vorobjova Biorro had an audition.
