Slovenia Gets First and Third in World Cup Biathlon Event

Östersund, 21 February - Slovenia recorded its best World Cup biathlon result in history, with two top-three places in the men's 20km individual meet on Friday in Oestersund. Janez Maric won the race in a time of 56:19.6, while Marko Dolenc was third, 13.7 seconds behind. The Czech Republic's Zdenek Vitek took second, finishing ten seconds behind Maric.
