STA Coverage on Wednesday, 26 February
Ljubljana, 25 February - The STA English service will cover the following events on Wednesday, 26 February:
LJUBLJANA - Czech Foreign Minister Cyril Svoboda is to pay a visit to Slovenia to hold talks with his counterpart Dimitrij Rupel, Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor and head of the parliamentary foreign policy committee Jelko Kacin. Aside from bilateral relations, discussion will focus on Slovenia's preparations for NATO integration, according the Slovenian Foreign Ministry. Svoboda and Rupel are to hold a joint press conference at 11:35 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The parliament is scheduled to wrap up its February session. Among issues left to be discussed is the act on the restructuring and privatisation of the state-owned Slovenian Railways (SZ).
LJUBLJANA - The Supreme Court is to rule on the extradition of Kosovar Albanian Fatmir Limai to the Hague International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY). Upon the request of the ICTY, the Slovenian police arrested the Hague defendant at the ski resort of Kranjska gora last week.
ZAGREB - The seventh meeting of the five successor states to the former Yugoslavia is to be held in Zagreb to divide assets of diplomatic missions of the former common state.
